Issue/Introduction

PAM End-User is getting the following error when RDPing to a particular Windows 2016 Target Server:

Unable to process your login request. The password may have expired, of the account may be disabled or locked. Contact your system administrator for assistance."

Environment

PAM 4.1.x

Resolution

Target server had trouble authenticating to Domain outside of PAM.

Once corrected PAM Target User was able to successfully login with a Target Domain User who is managed by PAM
