Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) shows an Unexpected Server Error under Admin > Servers and triggers a notification.

The following error shows up in Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\logs\scm-server-0.log

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 14.3 RU9 (14.3.25029.9000). For information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Protection, see Download the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection.

To work around this issue please follow these steps:

1. Go to Admin > Servers > Local Site > Site Properties > Data Collection
2. Uncheck Send pseudonymous data to Symantec to receive enhanced threat protection intelligence
