VIP Authentication Hub 2.2.0 - Yubikey Registration Failure

Issue/Introduction

Customer were able to register the Yubikey prior to 2.2 release but after upgrading they starting to see this error message "Encountered exception during the transaction: 'Invalid attestation data buffer: leftovers'" Can you provide insight about what this error means?

Resolution

We have introduced passkey functionality in AuthHub 2.2.2 release. To support passkey on iOS and Android native platforms, we modified the FIDO registration payload as per Google and Apple implementation of the WebAuthN specification but changes introduced as part of passkey support have broken some Yubikey Security keys (5 NFC version series) where as some of the Yubikeys are working as expected.

This issue is fixed as part of VIP AuthHub 2.2.3 release. Please upgrade the environment to 2.2.3 release if you encounter the issue. Here are the Release Notes for review.
