DX NetOps SpectroSERVER Performance degraded / Hung requiring restart

Issue/Introduction

Over time it has been noticed that the performance of Spectrum was degraded.

Noted that there was an increase the number of Global Collections being used.

Spectrum is integrated with Portal

Cause

The default behavior for the integration with Portal is to sync any/all Global Collections.  This, overtime, can lead to performance problems when the syncs are performed.

Resolution

The attribute isSyncToCAPC is set to "true" by default.

A review should be done in Portal to see what Global Collections are actually needed and business needs for syncing them.

For those that are not needed, go to Global Collections:

Right click all the attributes that the attribute needs to be changed -> Utilities -> Attribute Editor

Click the blue "add" button on the left, and find "isSyncToCAPC" and add it, then move it to the right using the selection arrows.

Once added, uncheck "No Change" and change to "No".  Then select "Set As Default"

Note: This will make all future created GCs to have this attribute set to "No".  If a new GC is needed to be synced with Portal, update the attribute to be "Yes"
