User can PXE boot Dell laptop using Network dongle, but adapter does not work after booting to production Windows

Issue/Introduction
Dell Latitude 7440 can boot to PXE and connect to the network using a Dell USB-C to Ethernet dongle in WinPE. However, after booting to production Windows 11, the same adapter will not connect to the network. All required drivers for the adapter/dongle are verified as installed.
Environment
Equipment: Dell Latitude 7440 and Dell USB-C to Ethernet dongle
Imaging tools: Deployment Solution 8.x or Ghost 3.x with WinPE
Cause
The specific model of USB-C to Ethernet dongle is not supported on the Latitude 7440: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-adapter-usb-c-to-ethernet-pxe-boot/apd/470-abnd/pc-accessories
Resolution
Research the model of Ethernet Adapter you are using, and contact the manufacturer of the dongle or laptop supplier if needed. Some dongles do not support the Dell Latitude 7440 but other similar models are supported. You could also try a dongle brand other than Dell.
