How to configure the Migration XPress to migrate the Provisioning Directory from standalone environment, which has a different domain name, not im, to Virtual Appliance

Environment

Identity Manager 14.4 / 14.5

Cause

The problem was the configuration in the improvisioning.properties file

Resolution

1. If you already run the tool, please, revert the PD/PS machine snapshot

2. Check etaadmin user exists in the "im" domain

3. Copy the backed-up files to /opt/CA/VirtualAppliance/migration

4. Change the domain name to im in improvisioning.properties, "-co", "-inc", and "-main" files and replace the dc=xxxx domain with dc=im

5. Run the tool.

Note: Before running the tool make sure that all improvisioing.properties files and other configurations are correct. Or Copy the backed-up conf and data folders of Migration XPress
