Issue/Introduction

Set up new PAM server with EEM installed locally. During the installation the EEM application for PAM is created and the default users are present.
Both PAM and EEM are running but not able to login to PAM using the default user pamadmin / pamadmin, no errors in the logs. 

Environment

PAM 4.4 

EEM 12.6.4 

Windows 2019

Resolution

Update the IP address and hostname in the local etc hosts file. 

If still the issue is not resolved, verify the network interface communication to check if it's communicating using IPv6 although the same in disabled in the network configuration properties, disable the same as mentioned on Microsoft's documentation

Reboot the server and ping ipaddress which should now render the IPv4 address.
