Is integration with JIRA on premise possible?

Issue/Introduction

The CA Service Desk Manager 17.4 documentation states that the prerequisites for SDM-JIRA integration are:

• CA Service Desk Manager 17.4 with REST enabled
• Jira Agile Management (cloud)
• Windows Server 2016 (referred as the CIS server) and above with the following software installed:
  • JRE (AdoptOpenJDK) 11.0.18
  • apache-tomcat-9.0.71-windows-x64
  • apache-activemq-5.15.16-bin

Is it also possible to integrate with JIRA installed On Premise?

Resolution

The SDM-JIRA integration is only with JIRA Cloud as JIRA on-premise will be soon EOL.

Even though the integration might indeed work, it would not be officially supported.
