Issue/Introduction

When creating a transaction entry in MUX how is the cost and rate populated?

 

Resolution

If the investment is associated with a rate matrix, once you enter the required fields, the cost and rate will populate.  Quantity should be the last field entered.

In order to get the correct rate/cost to populate, ensure you fill in all required fields that are part of  the matrix columns (i.e. if role is in the matrix, make sure you populate the role field before you enter the quantity.)

These costs and rates are the unit costs associated with the matching row in the rate matrix. 

If there is not matching row in the matrix, you will be prompted to enter the cost and rate.
