Where is the RECORD SOURCE that is mentioned in the
HOLDDATA for RO79890 ?
Step 3 of the ++HOLD data instructions for PTF RO79890 indicates,
"These members will reside in the SMP/E "CAGJSRC" library.", but they
do not.
Sample of the Step 3 ++HOLD DATA for PTF RO79890:
Step 3:
-------
Record and module definitions must be added to all data dictionaries
(both SYSTEM and Application) where you intend to compile your Web
Service programs. Run the IDMSDDDL utility using the following
members as input:
CLA1
CPA1
CPA2
CPA3
CWA1
CWA3
TCCALLS
TCLINKST
TCWORKS2
W079K077
W079K078
W079K212
These members will reside in the SMP/E "CAGJSRC" library.
The source is in member IDMSWEBS, which is referenced in the HOLD DATA of the later PTF RO85969.
The HOLDDATA for RO79890 may be misleading if read in isolation of PTF RO85969 HOLDDATA.
- PTF RO79890 created separate CAGJSRC members as documented in the ++HOLD.
- PTF RO85969 deleted those members and instead created one CAGJSRC member IDMSWEBS.
RO79890 is a prereq for PTF RO85969 and you need to follow the ++HOLD in the later PTF RO85969
for Step 3.
Below is a sample of the HOLD DATA Step 3 from PTF RO85969 that you need to follow instead of
the Step 3 HOLD DATA instructions from the earlier PTF RO79890.:
Sample of HOLD DATA Step 3 from PTF RO85969:
Step 3:
-------
Record and module definitions must be added to all data dictionaries
(both SYSTEM and Application) where you intend to compile your Web
Service programs. Run the IDMSDDDL utility using the following
member as input:
IDMSWEBS
This member will reside in the SMP/E "CAGJSRC" library.
NOTE: You should add the IDMSWEBS dictionary component definitions to
all secondary dictionaries you want to pre-compile your
Web Services COBOL programs against.
