Issue/Introduction

On the DCI Controller joblog there are several messages like the following one:

DCI0999E: ERROR READ     : (00000036/FFFFFFFF)

Is this a problem?

Cause

This is not an error on DCI side, it's a problem on TCPIP side.

Resolution

The x'00000036' (decimal 54) in the DCI0999E message is a TCPIP ERRNO. From IBM Sockets return codes (ERRNOs):

Error number  Message name           Error description        

       54             ECONNRESET         The connection to the destination host is not available.

Check on TCPIP side if there is any problem.
