Issue/Introduction

To ensure security and performance, all custom scripts in a ConnectALL SaaS environment require approval by the DevOps and Engineering teams. This process applies to both new scripts and updates to previously approved scripts.

Resolution

Open a case with ConnectALL support to initiate the script approval process. Include the following details in the request:

1. Script Purpose: Add a high-level comment within the script or the case description explaining the intention of the script.
2. Script File: Attach a copy of the script to the case.
3. Script Name: Provide the exact name of the script (e.g., FRB JiraAlignParent Prod).
4. Associations: Specify which connections or automations the script will be associated with.
5. Environment Details: Confirm if the script is for Staging or Production.

Scripts are reviewed by the DevOps team for security and performance. Approval is granted pending successful checks. Scripts deemed detrimental to performance or security will not be approved.
