Lines are truncated in reports if they exceed 8000 characters.

Issue/Introduction

Lines longer than 8000 characters are truncated in Linux/Unix Jobs.

This is not the case with the Windows Agents whose output is limited to 32K characters.

Environment

Unix Agents until v21.0.9

Cause

This is a defect

Resolution

There will be no fix for this problem in the conventional (C-based) Linux/UNIX agents in 21.0.

 

The problem will be fixed in the new generation Java-based system agents.
