CIA Real-Time started task run on multiple lpars

Issue/Introduction

Should the CIA, (Compliance Information Analysis), real-time started task run on each lpar to collect TSS data on the system? If the server lpar is not up, then real-time tasks on other systems won’t work.

Resolution

The Real-Time CIA Server (CIARTSRV) is run on the LPAR where the CIA repository resides. You can't run CIARTSRV on another lpar if the CIA repository resides in a different lpar. 
Real-time updates only support a single CIARTSRV instance at this time.
