Provide MODSDIS and PANLDIS specific dataset names

Issue/Introduction

Is there any way to use a specific high level qualifier, different from the common prefix used by all the NetMaster runtime datasets, for MODSDIS and PANLDIS  dataset names only?

Environment

NetMaster 12.2 

Resolution

There isn't a specific prefix for these datasets, but you can modify the file names directly in the related parameter groups using the /PARMS command, specifically:

• For MODSDIS, modify parameters group $NM MODSFILES
• For PANLDIS, modify parameters group $NM PANELLIBS 
  
  

Additional Information

An important note:
you need to create an INIFILE before you make the change, to save off current settings.
If you mistype one of the file names, startup will fail, and you will have no easy way of correcting the VFS unless an INIFILE is available.
Then, you can create a new INIFILE once Netmaster is up and running with the new MODSDIS and PANLDIS dataset names as a current backup.
