Symantec VIP Credential transaction data details in VIP Manager reports

Issue/Introduction
The Symantec VIP Manager 'REPORTS' allows VIP administrators to access transaction data for VIP User+VIP Credential transactions only. VIP Web Service Credential-only transaction summary data is available in the Credential Reports but transaction details are not available.
Cause
This is a limitation of VIP Manager reports
Resolution
The VIP User Services authenticateCredentials API can be used to validate VIP credentials without requiring a VIP User ID element in the request. These transactions are captured and retained for 1 year in the VIP Manager end-user transaction reports. Credential validations using this method are analogous to the VIP Credential Services Validate and CheckOTP requests. Instructions here: VIP User Service API guide.
