IBM Liberty with Siteminder ASA agent initialization issue

Issue/Introduction

ASA Agent registered with the IBM Liberty Profile and does not get initialized.

Get this below error message during 

[00/00/00 00:00:00:175 GMT] 00000021 SystemErr   R com.netegrity.siteminder.agentcommon.utils.l: Malformed 5.x WebAgent.conf format, no agentconfigobject parameter found.

Environment

Policy Server: r12.8.8
Policy Server OS: 7.9

OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.9 (Maipo)
Siteminder 12.80.0600.2649

Middleware IBM Liberty version: 22.0.0.3 with Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (8.0.6.31)

ASA agent: SiteMinder Application Server Agent 12.8 Websphere
 

Cause

This issue is caused if we have defined a wrong / improper syntax of the AgentConfigObject in the 

Assertion.conf

Tai.conf

Resolution

Please check the correct entry below.

Incorrect entry in the Assertion.conf

AgentConfigObject=myAgentName

Correct entry in the Assertion.conf / Tai.conf / Default-Agent.conf

AgentConfigObject="myAgentName"

 

Note: The different between the incorrect and correct entry is the entry of ACO should be in Quotes("")
