How to search for and then download a single PTF on the Broadcom Support Portal, when the Solution ID is known? For example, PTF LU09272
Resolution
Here are the steps for downloading LU09272:
Log on to the Broadcom Support Portal
Once you are on the "My Dashboard - Mainframe Software" page, type the PTF number (LU09272 in this case) in the search box and then press the Search button:
The PTF is usually displayed as the first item in the results list. Verify the Source (it must be Solutions) and the Solution ID: if they are correct, click on the PTF title link (IPVP1212 CDI ERROR. UNSUPPORTED VERSION 3101 in this case):
Scroll down to the Solution Downloads section, where you can find two icons: the first one (HTTPS Download) can be used to download immediately the solution to your PC; the second one (Secure FTP Download) opens a new window with the instructions to download that solution via SFTP:
