Issue/Introduction

This article outlines the directory structure and UI configuration required to associate custom JavaScript files with a Business Logic Task Handler (BLTH) in Identity Manager

Environment

Identity Manager 14.5 & 15

Resolution

  1. Place your JavaScript file (.js) in the following directory on the server: [InstallDir]\iam_im.ear\custom\validationscripts\ Example: [InstallDir]\iam_im.ear\custom\validationscripts\script.js
  2. In the Identity Manager UI, navigate to the BLTH configuration screen.
  3. In the JavaScript Filename field, enter only the name of the file (e.g., script.js). The system automatically uses the validationscripts directory as the root path.
