Harvest 14.5 installer leaves residual files in C:\

Issue/Introduction

After installing Harvest 14.5, client has found these files left in the C:\ drive:

Can these files be safely deleted?

It would be great if the Harvest 14.5 installer would not leave residual files in C:\

Resolution

Harvest Engineering will ensure that in the next Harvest 14.5 cumulative patch, the files gets destined to Harvest install folder rather than to C:\, which is currently the default.

Current ETA for the next Harvest 14.5 cumulative patch is late 2024, but no more specific ETA is available at the current time.

Notes:

Only the msvci70.dll is required whereas the other files can be safely deleted.
