The JCL for the execute of DSNUTILB and other related DDs are missing from the generated Database Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PDA)
ACTION JCL when using a US action code. Why is this happening?

Resolution

The execute of DSNUTILB and the other DDs are contained in the MJUTLGL model - (normally defined to the Model Name within the STEP JCL MODEL PARAMETERS on the Build Action Procedure
panel). This model is only used when IBM codes such as IC and RO, etc. are specified. Change the utility code to IC and use the PDA-supplied model, MJUTLIC (or similar one); or use the US code
and manually add the EXEC PGM=DSNUTILB and other DD control cards to the model.
