Issue/Introduction

Apparently alarms are being generated from a dynamic alarm configuration, but we have not configured the probe via AC or IM, only MCS profiles and alarm policies. These are false cdm probe alarms.

Environment

  • cdm v7.11
  • robot 9.40
  • Solaris UNIX SunOS 5.10.

Cause

  • baseline_engine cache

Resolution

  1. On the nearest hub that the robot belongs to, if there is a baseline_engine probe deployed, delete the contents of the cache_dir in the baseline_engine folder.
  2. Then acknowledge the false cdm alarms.
  3. Then restart the baseline_engine probe.
