After Harvester migration to a new server see an exception within harvester-wrapper.log

Issue/Introduction

After migrating the Network Flow Analysis Harvester to a new Linux server, the harvester-wrapper.log shows the following exception

Error:

java.rmi.RemoteException: Timed out while waiting for connection to com.ca.im.ra.poller.Poller because Exception creating connection

java.net.NoRouteToHostException:No Route to host ( Host unreachable)

 

Environment

Network flow Analysis 22.x, 23.x releases - Linux

Cause

There is a reference in the /etc/hosts file to the old IP address

Resolution

Please make sure that the reference to the old IP within /etc/hosts file is updated with the new IP address of the server and remove any references to the old IP.
