Issue/Introduction

The customer has SSP-S410, and was running 7.3.13.2 on SSP. After upgrading 7.3.16.2,
memory is drastically increasing and up to 70%.

Environment

Affected version: SGOS 7.3.15.x to 7.3.17.x

Cause

From the peer (web server) during data transmission between the SG and the peer (web server) when RST is issued and the connection is terminated, the SG is not released the cache buffer claimed in memory during communication.
This is a bug on SGOS 7.3.15 and 7.3.16 and 7.3.17.
Therefore, if the affected communication continues to occur, the amount of Cache buffer usage on the SG will continue to increase.
As a result, memory usage will drastically increase.

Resolution

Upgrade to 7.3.18, or upgrade to 7.3.15, 7.3.16, or 7.3.17, which includes the fix for this issue.

7.3.15.4 and later
7.3.16.3 and later
7.3.17.2 and later
