duplicate entries in DX OI SAAS for same device

Issue/Introduction

We have NetOps 23.3.1.0.14, UIM 20.4.8 and APM integrated into DX OI SAAS
All the servers are in our Azure environment and some are running the UIM robots/probes locally.  UIM and APM are both monitoring Azure as well. We are seeing duplicate inventory entities in DX OI SAAS.
The DX OI is consolidating data from other sources, but DX OI is not consolidating data of APM source with other sources (like UIM etc.). Also, the UIM is showing duplicate entries for the same server (uppercase), in addition to correctly consolidating where the server name is in lowercase.

Hostname base compaction is not enabled by default.. DX OI does only ip and mac by default The entities which have ip are getting compacted.

The Azure VM inventory item coming from the APM product, and other "type": "Virtual Machine" is the VM coming from the UIM . One has the IP address and Other does not have .. That is the reason why it is not getting compacted .. Also if we enable hostname based compaction .. The above two vertices will not compact as hostname compaction (on APM side) works on host type only.
