Issue/Introduction

PAM upgraded from 4.0.2 to 4.1.5 now session recording NFS to Netapp is very slow

Environment

PAM 4.0.2 upgraded to 4.1.5
NetApp sharing NFS folder to PAM session recording and  pam database bakups.

Cause

PAM 4.0.2 was NFS client 4.0, now PAM 4.1.5 using newer NFS client 4.1/4.2 is not behaving well with Netapp when pNFS is enabled in Netapp.
This is not a PAM issue

Resolution

This is not a PAM issue but a NetApp issue related to pNFS. NetApp Support advised client to disable the pNFS that issue is resolved.
