Issue/Introduction

While the deep linking functionality works flawlessly on Android, below error is observed in CA Mobile Authenticator log for iOS during provisioning the account:

2023-10-30 10:18:09 +0000: DEBUG :Url received with num. of params :[3]
2023-10-30 10:18:09 +0000: DEBUG :Provision - invoked  base64 ck:(null)
2023-10-30 10:18:09 +0000: DEBUG :Completion handler invoked with result - Invalid app command

Below URL is used for provisioning Mobile Authenticator account in the application:
caauth://p?n=<UserIdentifier>&u=<ProvisioningURL>&c=<Activation Code>

In CA Mobile OTP app (CA Strong Authentication 8.1) it worked fine, but not in CA Mobile Authenticator app (CA Strong Authentication 9.1).

Environment

Symantec Strong Authentication 9.1 SP3
CA Mobile Authenticator 2.12
iOS 12 and 15.7 and 17.1

Resolution

To provision an account, we recommend scanning the QR code using the CA Mobile authenticator app. Application should generate a QR code based on URL, activation code, and username.
