SMG Disarmament Bug: Incomplete Delivery of .eml Attachments and PDFs

Issue/Introduction

The problem arises when the Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG) processes a message that includes .eml attachments with embedded PDF files. When the Disarm feature is enabled in SMG, and the PDF within the .eml attachment contains an object requiring disarmament, SMG disarms the object and successfully reconstructs the entire message, including the disarmed PDF within the .eml attachment.

Unfortunately, a bug has been discovered in the reconstruction process of the .eml message. This bug leads to the message being delivered to the recipient's mailbox without the .eml attachment and the accompanying PDFs, causing an incomplete and potentially information-lacking delivery for the end user.
