Issue/Introduction

We are trying to mount external NFS share on the vApp and having issues accessing issues after the mount is done. The mounted directory is owned by root with permissions 755. Other users including the even the ec2-user can’t write to the directory. It looks like the MountNetworkShares alias used for mounting the NFS/EFS share is not allowing non-root access.

Environment

vAPP 14.4.2

Resolution

Resolved by HF_VA-20230922111417-DE577685.tgz.gpg.

The above fix is expected to be included in 14.5 CP1.
