Issue/Introduction

The issue is observed during the Sharepoint Agent migration from 12.52. SP01 CR10 to 12.52. SP01 CR11.

Experiencing the error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS after Siteminder User Authentication credentials provided on the login.fcc.

Environment

Agent for SharePoint version: 12.52. SP1 CR11
Windows version : Windows server 2016

Cause

Share Point agent upgradation did not replace the old Affwebservices with new jar files causing error loop.

Old Affwebservices jars are unable to decode the SMSESSION for generating WS_FED token and send it to SharePoint application for authorization.  

Resolution

Below are the options to fix the issue from happening post upgradation of SharePoint agent. 

1. Replace the complete affwebservices folder from the working SharePoint server. 

2. Download the latest WebAgent binaries from the Support Site and perform the re-installation.
