Issue/Introduction

This article shows that Datacom/AD Version 15.1 is compatible with z/OS 3.1 with no PTFs needed.

It also shows the way to find z/OS and other compatibility information for Datacom products.

Resolution

Here is how you can find compatibility information for your Broadcom products.

Once you have logged in at Broadcom Support, click the Compatibility Matrix link in the Quick Links section on the right-hand side of the My Dashboard page. On the subsequent Mainframe Compatibilities page, you can select the link for the category you want to check.

If you are looking for z/OS version compatibility, select the "z/OS Compatibility" link, and then on the z/OS Compatibility Matrix page, search for the product you need. Here you can enter DATACOM, and then scroll down the filtered list to see whether your product and version is compatible and if any special maintenance is needed.

As you can see there, Datacom/AD Version 15.1 is compatible with z/OS V3 R1, with no additional PTFs needed.
