Issue/Introduction

The IDMS process is that ETL produces from the IDMS schema an extract file and also a copybook that is passed to AFL to generate a file to be passed back to the mainframe for processing. 
Looking at an IDMS schema which has about 1100 records in it. Can split the files on the mainframe but this means manual intervention and running the masking 6 times. 

Can the the restrictions be increased on the number of records to 1200?

File Definition Manager has been updated to handle large copybooks. Also the two mainframe programs GTXDEF and GTXMSKF have had all internal tables increased to 1200 elements.
