Issue/Introduction

Dynamic groups stop updating. If I go into edit and press the find and save, it does not update the list. I have for make a change to the filter and then change it back to update the list.

Environment

UIM/OC 20.4

Cause

When dynamic groups are first created, the wasp probe is the one that sends the query to the database. After the creation, nis_server takes over updating the dynamic groups.

The issue is with the nis_server probe on the primary hub.

This is why when changing the filter manually, the list updates, it bypasses the nis_server. 

Resolution

Make sure the correct version of nis_server is installed for your version of UIM.
Deactivate nis_server
Wait for port and pid to clear.
Activate nis_server
