Issue/Introduction

How to set up SMG to block executable file in message attachments.

Resolution

SMG content filtering policies have "If the attachment or body part is in the attachment list "Executable Files (default)" " conditions which can be used to detect executable files in the email and act on that message.

 

As the default attachment list can't be modified, You can create a copy and adjust it to customer requirements.
