QoS ClassMap Update Metric Family does not complete

Issue/Introduction

The QoS ClassMap Metric Family (Cisco CBQos ClassMap (HC) vendor cert) does not discover new classmap items:

Discovery logging shows the following:

DA started the MF discovery at 2023-11-29T20:59:39:

Then:

 

The DC started to read all the MIB data at 20:59:50.488

The last message of DC Debug discovery log is:

which is not the reading complete message.

 

 

But in DA, after 15 minutes waiting, it started to generate this message:

Cause

Inefficiencies in discovery cause a timeout

Resolution

1. Create the file /opt/IMDataAggregator/apache-karaf/etc/com.ca.im.item.impl.distributed.DistributedItemRepositoryConfig.cfg
2. Add the following line:
   messengerTimeoutPerFacetOverride={http://im.ca.com/certifications/snmp}CiscoQosClassMapCounter64Mib=3600
3. Restart the DA. This will override the timeout settings for each Facet (Vendor Cert) as specified.
