What version of Python does DLP support?

Issue/Introduction

The DLP product documentation Script Lookup Plug-In tutorial mentions Python 2.6 but this is an older version (release date Oct. 2, 2008) which is outdated. 

Environment

Relevant to all DLP versions. 

Resolution

DLP does not require any specific version of python, there is no dependency on it for scripts. The documentation mentioning Python 2.6 is an example usage only for executing an external program.
