Issue/Introduction

When you install Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 14.3 RU6 on RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9.0, the status of sisevt and sisap kernel modules is "not loaded".

Environment

  • RHEL 9.0 with kernel 5.14.0-70.36.1 and later (RHEL 9.1/9.2 are not affected)

Resolution

Broadcom is aware of this issue and will update this document when a solution becomes available.

As a workaround, consider downgrading kernel version between 5.14.0-70.13.1 and 5.14.0-70.30.1.
