Scheduled Reports stop running after upgrading to 14.3 RU8.

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) to 14.3 RU8, scheduled reports do not run.  The following error is seen in the logs:

SEVERE:  in: com.sygate.scm.server.task.ScheduledReportingTask
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: No subject alternative DNS name matching <server name> found.

Environment

14.3 RU8 SEPM
A custom certificate that only includes a subject alternative name for the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the SEPM server. 

Cause

Additional certificate validation introduced in 14.3 RU8 revealed an issue with the Scheduled Reporting Task.

Resolution
