Issue/Introduction

When does Compress for IMS issue records for SCRT report ?

Resolution

The SCRT record by CMPIMS is created only once per database starts (IMS compression routine initialization).

For online database, the INIT call is done only once, during first call (read/write) to that database. Not during start of the database.
For offline batch jobs, INIT is done at the beginning of the processing (first call), for every job.
