Can't register ActiveX Bridge for JavaBeans

Issue/Introduction

When try to register PVtab.dll got to this error

The packaged JavaBean is not located under the directory <jre_home>\axbridge\bin

but jre_home is defined and it is there

 

Resolution

It only works for 32 bit 1.6 jre as the online help describes. Developers would need to  download 32 bit 1.6 java/jre and try again.

Note: if the developer registered some DLLs before this error he/she would need to un-register them and then register again using 32 bit 1.6 jave/jre
