At some point, the alarms in IM were not updating as expected. You could send a test alarm but it wouldn't appear until you forced a refresh via the nas alarm bar. Normal refresh (F5) also had no effect.
The nas database.db was much larger than the transactionlog.db and this is unusual, so we did the following:
1. Deactivated nas
2. Renamed the local nas files (transactionlog.db and database.db)
3. Activated nas
The transactionlog.db (alarm history) was then maintaining a larger size than the database.db (live alarms).
Then the alarm subconsole began updating normally again.
