Identity Suite (vApp) Remote Tools in-place upgrade

Issue/Introduction

We upgraded our vApp to version 14.5, and now we need to upgrade the Identity Suite Remote Tools:

CA-IG_DataIntegration
CA-IG_WorkpointDesigner
CA-IM_BulkLoadClient
CA-IM_ConfigXpress
CA-IM_ConnectorXpress
CA-IM_ProvisioningManager
CA-IM_Tools
migration-xpress-14.5.0.zip

Can we perform in-place upgrade of the Identity Suite Remote Tools from version 14.4.1 to 14.5 ?

Resolution

The installer does not support in-place upgrade.   Identity Suite Remote Tools are all either sample content or client software.     

To get the latest version, remove the existing older version and use the remote tools installer to perform a clean install of the 14.5 Remote Tools.


Please backup any custom or client specific content, such as bulk load files prior to removing the existing software. 

Additional Information

The remote Provisioning Server, and remote Connector Server installers do support in place upgrades.
