Issue/Introduction

The Automation Point online help has specific guidance for setting up two-way paging with a proxy server.

It is possible to specify a site-specific internet proxy server to use with Notification Manager's two-way paging setup.

 

Resolution

1. Open Automation Point Configuration Manager -> Expert Interface -> Notification Services -> Paging -> 2-Way Paging -> 2-Way Paging Setup
   
2. Setup 2-Way Paging by following the documentation Configure 2-way paging
3. Click the 'Advanced' button to define your site-specific Internet Proxy info.
4. Consult the online help by clicking the '?' button in the Advanced dialog to understand the meaning of each field and checkbox in this dialog
