Issue/Introduction

When executing the playbook task “Run liveupdate followed by a reboot” task, the clients inside this groups will be forced to reboot upon finalizing the download of Live Update definitions.

 

Environment

SES

Cause

The reboot command that executes as a part of this task will be executing no matter what the administrator has configured in the System policy applied to the clients.

 

Resolution

If the SES/ICDm administrator doesn't wish to have their clients rebooting, then use the "Run LiveUpdate" that will be following the settings of restart applied to the System Policy.
