Credentials not accepted in zowe explorer

The version of schema.json file being used by user has less lines than team member. 

Cause

Shared configuration file among team members

Resolution

Copy schema.json file another team member.

If schema.json file is truncated the after copying , this can be corrected using: 
zowe config schema > zowe.schema.json
