"Failed to start agent"

Issue/Introduction
Trying to log to PAM Client, error "Failed to start agent" comes up:
Environment
PAM 4.1.3
Cause
Logs.log shows:
Hostname is not matched: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Illegal given domain name: example.net.
User typo.
Resolution
Remove “.” (dot/period) from the domain name (example.net.)
The correct name is "example.net"
