Issue/Introduction

As customer's internal policy they want DLP agent to appear in Add / remove programs on control panel however agent does not appear even after setting ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT = 0 in install_agent.bat file.

Environment

DLP 15.8 +

Windows 10 +

Cause

This issue happens due to an unknown MSI behavior and not due to DLP endpoint agent.

Resolution

Remove 'ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT' switch from install_agent.bat file as a workaround.
