DQRY abend AEI0 after upgrading region to CICS TS 5.5

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading a CICS region to CTS 5.5, Dataquery DQRY is abending with code AEI0. The following message is issued:

DFHAC2236 11/27/2023 00:11:55 CICSST07 Transaction DQRY transaction number 00073  abend AEI0 in program DQONLPR term 101T. Updates to
           local recoverable resources will be backed out.

Resolution

CICS abend code AEI0 indicates that a program cannot be found, either the program is not in the load library or the program definition entry is missing in CICS.

IPC PTF SO06164 delivers 2 new modules for CICS TS 5.5 support, VPEHJE72 and VPEHJN72. This PTF needs to be applied.

If CICS uses a different runtime library to the SMP/E target library make sure the 2 new modules VPEHJE72 and VPEHJN72 are copied across to the CICS library.

Also follow the HOLD action in the PTF as shown below to define these new programs to CICS. This has to be run on all CICS regions.
