Issue/Introduction

During the maintenance, user wasn't able to stop SYSVIEW STC and got the below messages in SYSLOG

Cause

OPS/MVS SSM feature controlling tasks on that system. 

Resolution

  1. Go to OPSVIEW 4.11.2.
  2. Locate the SYSVIEW entry.
  3. Then under column 'Desired' type 'DOWN' and hit enter.
  4. After a few seconds, it should stop.
  5. To start it back overtype 'DOWN' with 'UP' and hit enter.
  6. After another few seconds SYSVIEW should be back. 

Additional Information

When SSM controls STC then START and STOP should be done from SSM panel of OPS/MVS.
