MSSQL Default Schema Limitation - Identity Governance

Issue/Introduction

Users are unable to specify a default schema for MSSQL users provisioned by the CA Identity Governance (IGA) system. The product architecture currently does not provide a mechanism within the account template to assign or extend schema attributes for the SQL connector.

Cause

The SQL connector design currently lacks the ability to extend schema configurations, making it impossible to define or assign a default schema property via account templates during the provisioning process.

Resolution

This functionality is currently unavailable in the product design. To register this business requirement for Product Management review:

1. Navigate to the Broadcom product communities.
2. Raise a new Idea (Enhancement Request).
3. Provide detailed business requirements, use cases, and supporting documentation for why schema specification is required in your environment.
4. Select the relevant product category (e.g., Symantec IGA or CA Identity Manager) before submitting.
